RADICAL MODERNIST – THE MYSTERY MAN MART STAM

The design of the exhibition derives directly from Mart Stam’s art. Lengths of architects’ paper hang from metal tubes like the ones Stam used in his cantilever chair; red accents have been applied by hand in shoe wax. The translucent paper allows visitors to see the adumbrations of objects and people in the adjoining corridors – a mis en scène of the paranoia that overshadowed Stam's life.
