LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT TO THE GARDEN WE GO!
Special exhibition in 2014
at LWL Open-Air Museum Detmold
In collaboration with our architectural partner office DBCO
Inspired by the urban gardens trend, the centrepiece of the exhibition is a garden made of 600 reusable pallets, rice sacks and bakery crates. It is set up on fallow land of the open-air museum. Visitors can use it, take care of it and even extend it if they wish. The signs for the exhibition comply in full with upcycling principles. Over 100 over-sized planting signs, distributed over 22 stations and 90 hectares of museum grounds, have been developed out of discarded old stock and materials.
